We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Specialist to join our team.
As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems to optimize our manufacturing processes.

Quality Assurance roles in a distribution warehouse are crucial to ensuring that products are handled, stored, and shipped accurately and safely.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance -Responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality standards.
-Conduct regular quality checks on products, packaging, and labeling.
-Identify and document defects or discrepancies, and work with relevant teams to address issues.
Inventory Auditing -Perform regular audits of warehouse inventory to verify accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
-Utilize technology such as barcode scanners and warehouse management systems to track and trace products.
-Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and implement necessary adjustments in warehouse processes.
Compliance Coordination -Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments in warehouse processes.
Documentation Organization and Record Keeping -Maintain and organize quality-related documentation, including inspection records.
-Ensure that all documentation meets regulatory and company standards.
-Assist in the development and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Training Coordination -Develop and deliver training programs for warehouse staff on quality control processes and procedures.
-Conduct periodic training sessions to keep employees informed about changes in quality standards or procedures.
-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Root Cause Analysis -Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues or defects.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventative actions.
-Develop reports and recommendations for continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
Data Analysis -Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in warehouse operations.
-Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED and some relevant experience to role - Proven experience in quality control or a similar role - Strong knowledge of quality systems and QA/QC processes - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights - Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Skill Set:
- Must be able to use a computer effectively, including Google Suite.
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
-Some relevant experience with the following programs would be preferred:
QMS Manhattan, Google Sheets, and Netsuite.
Work environment:
Warehouse 90% of time on feet working, 10% in office desk setting.
Warehouse setting is not temperature controlled, but office is temperature controlled.
